Martelli 00 Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 2 tsp instant dry yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 ⅓ cup warm water
- 3 cups Martelli 00 Pizza Flour
- 1 tsp Martelli Sea Salt
- 2 tsp Martelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Tomato sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Prosciutto
- Arugula
Steps
- Into a large bowl add the yeast, sugar and water. Mix and allow to sit for a few minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Add the flour, salt and olive oil and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes. Add more flour as needed if the dough is too sticky.
- Form dough into a ball and transfer to a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a tea towel and leave it in a warm area to rise for a few hours. The dough should double in size.
- Punch the air out of the dough, transfer onto a lightly floured surface and knead once more.
- Roll out your pizza dough and add your tomato sauce, cheese and prosciutto
- Bake at 450 F for 15-18 minutes. Finish with fresh arugula.
